Monday, Dec. 3 – Joseph Palmer, a goalie for men’s hockey, was named to the 2008 U.S. National Junior Team and will compete in the International Federation World Junior Championship Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in the Czech Republic. (Release)

Saturday, Dec. 8 – Football’s James Laurinaitis and Cameron Heyward were named to Sporting News All-American Teams. Laurinaitis was a first-team honoree and Heyward was recognized on the freshman squad. (Release)
