Fullback: Bob White, was an outstanding fullback that played in 1957, 1958 and 1959…He was why we won the Big Ten and why we were National Champs in 1957 and he was only a Sophomore! He had injury problems in his Senior year but was an outstanding player!
Tight End: Number 84, I played 1442 1/2 minutes out of 1680 for three years, (440 out of 600 as a Sophomore; 500 1/2 out of 540 as a Junior; and, 502 1/2 out of 540 as a Senior… when we couldn’t play as Freshman. I was MVP my Junior and Senior years for the team and All-American/All-Big Ten my Junior and Senior years. You conclude wether or not I should be considered….ask someone from the late fifties about our teams and many individuals that played well for OSU! (I was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2005!)
